Academic Requirements
 
ICHM takes a holistic approach to student selection. In addition to meeting academic requirements, students must also demonstrate the maturity, personality and attitude appropriate for this demanding industry. Applications will be assessed on individual merit, students close to the required academic level that display the other above mentioned attributes are encouraged to apply.

Not all countries or qualifications are listed below; students with other qualifications should send their details for assessment. For students applying during their final year of secondary school, please attach your previous year’s academic transcript and predicted results for your final year. ICHM can offer enrolment conditional upon the successful completion of your final year.

Note: When applying to ICHM certified academic transcripts/supporting documents must be provided in English. These may be certified by the school/institution that issued the original documents, Public Notary or other independent source approved by ICHM.
 

 English Requirements
 
International students may be required to prove English proficiency. Please see the table below for the accepted levels. Students who do not meet ICHM English requirements upon application, may be offered enrolment conditional upon successful completion of an English language course.
 

 
Age Entry
 
Standard age requirement for entrance into ICHM is 18 years, students who will turn 18 close to their selected start date are encouraged to apply subject to additional conditions. Mature age entrance of 20 years of age or over into ICHM courses may be possible without meeting the formal academic qualifications if they have relevant work experience or other acceptable qualifications.
