Australian Students – FEE-HELP

For all or part of their tuition fees Australian students can access FEE-HELP. See the FEE-HELP page for more information including eligibility.

Domestic & International Students - Postgraduate Tuition Fees

The full Master of International Hotel Management consists of fourteen subjects, which includes the subject Professional Practice and Research Project (no fee is applied to the Professional Practice and Research Project subject). Graduates from other universities or hospitality/business related institutions may be eligible for recognition of prior learning which will reduce the overall cost. Applicants are encouraged to take this into consideration when calculating their tuition fees for this program. 

New International Students are required to pay a once off New Student Fee - A$250.

Additional Financial Considerations to On-campus Study

International Students are required to pay the New Student Fee of A$250 once only, when they first enroll with ICHM.

The cost of textbooks per year of study for the ICHM undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs will vary depending on the year and will range from A$400-A$600 in total.

 

In preparation for career in the hospitality industry, students are expected to maintain a very high standard of personal appearance during their studies at ICHM. Students enrolled within Hospitality-focused qualifications are required to wear uniforms assigned with relevance to operations and management positions within the international hospitality and tourism industry.  

Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) students must purchase their own ICHM uniform from Cargo Crew. The uniform cost ranges from A$500 - $700 for the duration of the course.

Master of International Hotel Management and Study Abroad students are not required to purchase the ICHM uniform, but they are expected to comply with the same personal presentation standards as the Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management). Students can purchase business attire from Cargo Crew.

All Masters and Study Abroad students must wear a business suit of professional colour with coordinating accessories, appropriate to contemporary management positions in the international business environment.  

 

Fee Payment Plans - Information & Application
  • New international students will have to pay the first semester fees upfront

  • New Australian students can pay in full or in part by the census date or defer their remaining or full tuition fees via FEE-HELP

  • In subsequent semesters students can elect to pay via instalment.

Tuition Protection Scheme (TPS) for Students

In the unlikely event that ICHM is unable to deliver the program, the Australian Government's TPS will assist the student in finding an alternative course or where continuation of study is not possible, students may be entitled to receive a loan re-credit for units of study commenced but not completed. The personal information that ICHM may collect and disclose about you to the department in relation to up-front payment tuition protection includes your:

  • name, date of birth, contact details and identifiers (e.g., Unique Student Identifier),

  • study arrangements and details including endolments and course progress, and

  • payment arrangements, including tuition fees paid or payable, scholarships and payments by third parties. Please note that information about your enrolment will be disclosed to the Department of Education, Skills and Employment for the purposes of administering tuition protection.
